Gabe Saporta: I actually had a vision about this. I though about ants, and I thought that ants only exist to show us the power of the collective consciousness, because a single ant is nothing but all together they can accomplish huge feats. And I thought there’s so much secrecy in the world of ants, and I thought if we came into contact with a higher being they would look like ants. Because they would also have to test our ability to look past things that aren’t pleasant to look at and connect with the humanity beyond our view.

[PROJECT] Guilty Pleasure Dance across Europe
Time for a new projet, only EUROPEAN this time. Here’s the pitch:
We want to make a video of people dancing the “Guilty Pleasure” dance in famous places across Europe.
If you want to be in the video, please send us a message (Twitter, Tumblr or e-mail cobracreweu@hotmail.com) saying:
- WHO is participating (must be at least 2 or 3 persons)
- WHERE you will be dancing (exact place, like “In front of Big Ben in London”)
What you have to send us:
- The video of you dancing the “Guilty Pleasure” dance in the famous place of your choice. Please be sure to follow the beat (try putting your headphones with the song while you’re dancing to stay on the real rhythm)
- Footage video: make a cardboard sign saying “LISTEN TO COBRA STARSHIP” and ask people to hold it while you’re filming! Ask as many different people as you can and think of funny people like old people, punks… All kind of people! You can also film you while you’re creating your sign, while you’re searching for people in the street, while you’re singing… Everything that might be in the video during the verses.
No deadline yet.
We’ll make a list with the places where people are doing it, so if you’re alone in your city, maybe you can find some fans to meet and participate with them!

For those who don’t know what the award project is, check this blog post.
